24.75 GHz to 27.5 GHz 16-Channel Tx/Rx Dual Polarization Beamformer

The ATS29916 is a mmWave 5G transmit and receive beamformer IC with RF range from 24.75 GHz to 27.5 GHz. The RF integrated circuit (RFIC) is highly integrated and contains 16 configurable transmit and receive channels. A horizontal and vertical polarization transmit mode and receive mode control pin is provided for fast switching between transmit mode and receive mode. The vector modulator provides a full 360° phase adjustment  range  in either TX or  RX mode to provide 6bits of resolution for 5.6° phase steps. The ATS29916 can be programmed using a 3-wire or 4-wire serial port interface (SPI), the SPI protocol operates up to 100MHz with fast beam switching and fast beam-state loading.
