24.0 GHz to 29.5 GHz 4-Channel Transmit/Receive Beamformer

The ATS29908 is a mmWave 5G transmit and receive beamformer IC with RF range from 24.0 GHz to 29.5 GHz. The RF integrated circuit (RFIC) is highly integrated and contains 4 configurable transmit and receive channels. A horizontal and vertical polarization transmit mode and receive mode control pin is provided for fast switching between transmit mode and receive mode. The vector modulator provides a full 360° phase adjustment range in either TX or RX mode to provide 6bits of resolution for 5.6° phase steps. The ATS29908 can be programmed using a 3-wire or 4-wire serial port interface (SPI), the SPI protocol operates up to 100MHz with fast beam switching and fast beam-state loading.
